Msi introduces 10.1-inch netbook with nine hours battery life A


The Wind U160 works with the new Atom N450 CPU, 1GB of RAM and a large up to 250 GByte hard drive. Its 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolves pixel. It dell vostro 2510 battery comes in the first quarter on the market.


MSI has presented yesterday at the Consumer Electronics Show that ended (CES) in Las Vegas have been most compact netbook Wind. The Pine Trail on Intel-based platform U160 measures 2.5 inch at the thickest point and weighs about 1 kilogram. It will get up to nine hours with no outlet.


The platform includes Pine Trail near the NM10 Express Chipset, which enables communication with, inter alia, USB and SATA devices, the new Atom N450 CPU with integrated graphics core (GMA 3150) and memory controller. The processor is clocked at 1.66 GHz as fast as the previous N280 is, but work more efficiently. He is MSI 1GB DDR RAM and up to 250 GB of hard drive to the side.

The 10.1-inch LED-backlit display on the U160 Netbook dissolves with the typical 1024 x 600 pixels. Other features include Gigabit Ethernet, WLAN 802.11b/g/n (), Bluetooth, an integrated touchpad seamlessly into the case, a Chiclets keyboard, a card reader and a webcam. UMTS is optional. Using Windows 7 starters used.


Of interfaces three USB ports, microphone input, headphone jack, and VGA output are available. The latter supported because of restrictions built into the Atom CPU unit only graphic resolutions up to 1400 times 1050, so that can be external full HD monitors controlling lenovo batteries not reasonable.


The U160 will come in the first quarter on the market. A price has not named msi. The guarantee period is two years, including pick-up.
